1.These terms
If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the website. ACBTS may be contacted at info@acbtschool.africa.
2.What this website currently is
The Africa–China Business and Technology School is an institution being established to deliver professional education, executive training, research and Africa–China engagement.
This is an institutional and developing platform. It explains what ACBTS is building and lets people register an account, manage a basic profile, join the waitlist, apply for engagement opportunities or enquire about an institutional partnership.
Course enrolment, programme purchases, fee payments, learning materials, assessments and certificates are not currently available through this website. Descriptions of forthcoming programmes or capabilities are statements of intent and may change.
3.ACBTS status and credentials
ACBTS does not award academic degrees. Nothing on this website is an offer of, or claim to award, a bachelor's degree, master's degree, MBA, doctorate or other statutory academic qualification.
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular programme, any future ACBTS certificate will be a certificate of participation or completion for professional training, not a university degree, diploma or statutory academic qualification.
Partnerships
ACBTS pursues collaboration with universities, institutions, corporations and professional organisations. A partner may provide academic input, facilitators, curriculum support, facilities, research collaboration or another agreed contribution.
A partnership does not make all ACBTS programmes the partner's programmes or confer degree-awarding status on ACBTS. Information for a specific programme will state a partner's precise role and certification arrangement. If you rely on a named relationship, please confirm its current status with ACBTS first.
4.Accuracy of information
We take reasonable care to keep the website accurate and current. Programme areas, dates, fees, facilitators, delivery arrangements, partnerships and other details may change, and some information describes plans rather than existing services.
Website information is general information. It does not create a contract between you and ACBTS unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
5.Accounts, interest, applications and enquiries
Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised account use. An account does not create enrolment, admission, employment or access to a programme. ACBTS may suspend or disable access where needed for security, legal compliance or a breach of these terms.
Waitlist
Joining the waitlist means we may contact you about ACBTS launch and programme updates. It does not reserve a place, guarantee admission or eligibility, or fix any fee. You may ask to be removed at any time.
Engagement applications
Submitting an application or supporting document does not create employment, consultancy or another contractual relationship. ACBTS is not obliged to accept an application, explain a decision or offer an opportunity. Any engagement requires a separate written agreement.
You confirm that submitted information is accurate and that you may lawfully share it. You retain ownership of your documents and permit ACBTS to store, copy and review them solely to assess your application and, where agreed, future opportunities. ACBTS will not publish them or use them for an unrelated purpose without permission.
Partnership enquiries
An enquiry is an expression of interest. It creates no partnership, obligation or representation that a partnership exists. Any partnership requires a separate written agreement.
6.Payment notice
ACBTS does not accept payments through this website at this stage and does not request payment for joining the waitlist, applying for an opportunity, registering an account or making a partnership enquiry.
If anyone requests payment in ACBTS's name for an application, registration, programme place, scholarship or certificate, treat it as suspicious and verify it through info@acbtschool.africa before paying.
7.Acceptable use
You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- submit false, misleading or fraudulent information;
- impersonate a person or organisation or misrepresent an affiliation;
- attempt unauthorised access to an account, the website or a connected system;
- interfere with operation of the website or place unreasonable load on it;
- upload malicious material or content you are not entitled to share;
- scrape or harvest content or personal information by automated means;
- use the website to send unsolicited communications; or
- use ACBTS materials commercially without written permission.
We may restrict access or remove a submission where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
8.Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the ACBTS name, crest, logo and website text, graphics, illustrations, photographs, video, layout and design are owned by or licensed to ACBTS and protected by law.
You may view the website and print or download extracts for personal, non-commercial use. You must not otherwise reproduce, distribute, publish, modify, sell, license or commercially exploit them without written permission. Third-party names, logos and marks remain their owners' property.
Report a suspected infringement to info@acbtschool.africa.
9.Links to other websites
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. ACBTS does not control or accept responsibility for their content, availability, security or handling of personal information. A link is not an endorsement.
10.Disclaimers and liability
The website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, although we take reasonable measures to protect it.
Nothing here is legal, financial, tax, immigration, investment or other professional advice, or a guarantee of admission, employment, promotion, business success, visa outcome, professional licensing or another result.
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, ACBTS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity or data arising from website use. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11.Privacy
Our handling of personal information is explained in the Privacy & Data Protection Notice, which forms part of these terms.
12.Complaints and feedback
Send complaints about the website, communications, applications or information handling to info@acbtschool.africa. We will acknowledge a complaint within five working days and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If more time is required, we will explain why.
13.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here, and the last-updated date identifies changes. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
14.Governing law
These terms and disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
15.General
If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues. A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. No person other than you and ACBTS has a right to enforce these terms.
