Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about the school, opportunities and using the ACBTS website.

What is ACBTS?

The Africa–China Business and Technology School is an institution being established to deliver professional education, executive training, research, technology capacity building and Africa–China engagement.

Is ACBTS a university or degree-awarding institution?

No. ACBTS does not award academic degrees. Unless a particular programme expressly states otherwise, future ACBTS certificates will recognise participation in or completion of professional training, not a university degree, diploma or statutory academic qualification.

Can I enrol in a programme now?

Not yet. The website currently shares ACBTS plans and supports accounts, the waitlist, engagement applications and partnership enquiries. Course enrolment, learning materials, assessments and certificates are not currently available.

What happens when I join the waitlist?

ACBTS may contact you with launch, programme and opportunity updates. Joining does not reserve a place, guarantee admission or eligibility, or fix a future fee. You may ask to be removed at any time.

Do I need an account to join the waitlist or apply?

No. Waitlist entries and applications are separate from platform accounts and do not automatically create one. You may register an account separately to manage your basic ACBTS profile.

What opportunities can I apply for?

The current application area includes facilitator, industry expert, visiting fellow, volunteer, intern and administrative support opportunities. Each form shows the information and documents required for that category.

Does submitting an application mean I have been accepted or hired?

No. An application is an expression of interest. It does not create employment, consultancy or another contractual relationship. Any engagement requires review and a separate written agreement.

How are uploaded documents protected?

Documents are stored privately, checked for permitted file type and size, and made available only to authorised reviewers through controlled, short-lived access links.

How can an organisation partner with ACBTS?

Use the partnership enquiry form to describe your organisation and proposed area of collaboration. An enquiry creates no partnership or obligation; any collaboration requires a separate written agreement.

Does ACBTS accept payments through this website?

No. ACBTS does not currently request payment for registering an account, joining the waitlist, applying or making a partnership enquiry. Treat unofficial payment requests as suspicious and verify them through info@acbtschool.africa.

Does ACBTS sell personal information?

No. ACBTS does not sell personal information. Information is used to operate accounts, respond to submissions, review applications, manage enquiries and keep the website secure, as explained in the Privacy Notice.

How can I access, correct or delete my information?

Email info@acbtschool.africa with your request. ACBTS may verify your identity before acting and will respond within 30 days, or explain if a complex request requires longer.
